Vancouver Family Photographer - We'll miss you!

My very best friend has left today :-( Her family is relocating to Calgary for 18 months, and though she will come visit regularly (she promised!), it won't be the same. I will miss the summer afternoons and evenings when our girls would play at the park together and we could chat uninterrupted (though only for a few minutes at a time, lol). She came over with her girls last Saturday for a last dinner and play date before the big move. Her hubby left with all their possessions earlier that morning. I wanted to do something special, so we went for a very quick photo session at a nearby park. Though the session was brief, I hope the images will remind you that you guys will be missed. Have a safe move and a wonderful time in Calgary!

Vancouver Newborn Photography - 9 days old and curious!

You know what I love about my clients? That they are just as passionate about getting beautiful photos of their baby as I am and have the patience to keep trying. This tiny little beauty was so curious about what I was doing, she didn't want to sleep a wink. That's okay, we got some lovely shots of her wide awake, though she was giving me the "you're going to do what to me?" look quite a bit, lol. But after some coaxing, feeding, rocking, shushing, more feeding, burping, cuddling and snuggling she decided to give slumber another chance. I'm so glad she did, because we got to do some really sweet poses. It was such a pleasure seeing you guys again!
