I'm lucky!

Every time I have a session I realize just how lucky I am to do what I absolutely LOVE for a living! From the voluptuous expectant curves, to the precious newborns, to the unique dynamics of families, I feel honoured that I was chosen to capture their essence for posterity.

Today was no exception. I had a visit from a striking woman expecting her first baby. At 35 weeks, she was just at the perfect time in her pregnancy for a photo session and we had so much fun! I had a very hard time choosing the photos for this sneak peek because we captured so many wonderful images. I can't wait for you darling to arrive. He/she will be here before you know it :-)

Stunning

I had the pleasure of photographing an absolutely stunning momma-to-be today. It was extra special for me, as this was my first session in my brand new studio space. It's always so much fun when my clients are up for anything and I really got to push my creative boundaries while I figured out my way around the new studio. Thanks so much you guys for making my job easy! Can't wait to see you when your sweet bundle of joy arrives. Enjoy!

Blue Steel

I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest little man today... and his newborn son (haha, just kidding Neil!) You may remember daddy from this session. Despite being thoroughly unimpressed with my LOUD shutter, baby B let me snap a few shots before he let me know in no uncertain terms that he was finished, lol. He's gorgeous, you guys! Congratulations and thank you for letting me capture this special time in your lives.

Looks like father and son have been working hard at perfecting the "blue steel" look for this photo session :-)

Fun in the Sun

It was another gorgeous day in Vancouver and I was really excited to meet up with my friend Ashleigh for a maternity session. It was a perfect day for trying new things, both indoors and outdoors. And it certainly didn't hurt that the parents-to-be were such a gorgeous couple. I had lots of fun! Thanks for letting me tag along :-)

The Right Mix

I had such a fun session with these guys today. We had just the right mix of classic and fun. If you don't believe me scroll down to the last photo, lol. That one's for you Neil! You guys were a blast. I can't wait to meet your little guy when he gets here.
