Another snowy day on the Lower Mainland. It sure makes for beautiful photos :-) I am very ready for spring, though, and have a bunch of outdoor sessions booked, so I hope the weather gets nicer soon.
I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous couple expecting their first baby. I just love the mix of shots we got and I'm thrilled it wasn't too chilly to get some shots outside. Enjoy your sneak peek! Can't wait to see you with your little darling very soon :-)
Don't forget to like Mamique Photography on Facebook as many exciting announcements will be first made there.

Vancouver Newborn Photographer - Tiny baby girl
I almost forgot to blog this session! Things have been so busy lately that it's hard to keep up with my "to do" list.
I've met sweet little Miss L. a couple of weeks ago for a delightful session at my studio. She was one of those rare newborns that wasn't bothered by anything I tried to do. No peeps or complaints, she was happy to stay asleep in whatever pose I thought up for her :-)

North Vancouver Newborn Photographer - Miss A.
Sweet little Miss A. was a bit older than the newborns I typically photograph (almost 4 weeks) and at that age you never know how the session will go. Turns out she was perfectly happy to doze off and pose perfectly for her first set of portraits :-)
I'm excited I'll get to see her again in a few months for her 6 month portraits and one more time when she turns one. It's part of the new "Watch Me Grow" package for 2011. The package includes 3 sessions (newborn, 6month, 1 year) plus lots of printed goodies, to document your baby's first year. Send me an email if you wish to learn more. I'll share more details in another post, but for now I leave you with the last little munchkin for a short while.
I am taking February off to catch up on some of the many things that got pushed aside lately and to go to a convention at the end of the month. I apologize to all the people I had to turn away this month, but I promise the photographers I referred you to are absolutely wonderful! Things will be back in full swing in March :-)
Okay, as promised, here is adorable Miss A.

Vancouver Newborn Photographer - Itty Bitty
Today's little cutie surprised everyone when she decided to arrive almost 3 weeks early! Yet for an early baby, and only 7 days old, she was starting to roll over already. Watch out guys, she's gonna keep you on your toes ;-)
Cute as a button, she slept perfectly, but boy did she let me know when she didn't like a pose, lol. Not to worry, though, I worked around her preferences to ensure we both got what we wanted.
