Sweet Dreams

Ever have one of those days where everything goes right and you're wondering what's wrong because that never happens? Well, today was one of those days for me :-) It started out with me being ready for the session BEFORE my clients arrived (I know!) Then I could hardly believe my luck when a gorgeous family came with their one week old slumber queen. I often tell my clients to bring their baby in as early as they can because newborns are just so sleepy and content in the first few days. I have to say, 7 days is really a perfect age for a session. This little princess just slept and slept giving us an opportunity to try poses and set ups that would otherwise be impossible. Thank you A and T for coming over today and being so open to my ideas. Full of Love

I just love it when my clients are up to trying new things! I had such a great time, it's hard to believe I get to call this work :-) Expecting their first baby in just a few short weeks, they're excited to find out if it will be a boy or a girl. How exciting to keep it a surprise (I know I couldn't, lol). Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me capture some of these precious moments. Can't wait to meet your bundle of joy!

Pretty Start to the New Year!

Boy am I ready for spring to arrive... you? This torrential downpour we had the last few days made me long for sunshine. Lucky for me a tiny ray of sunshine came to visit me yesterday, together with her parents and two older brothers! The boys were so excited about their baby sis and she was a perfect little lady.

un petit bébé...

Well, not that small ;-) This sweet little man made his mommy wait a long time, but like all babies, he came into this world eventually. I was honoured to be the reason for his first trip out since coming home from the hospital. He was a real cutie and was quite happy to let me snap his first photos. Thank you so much for letting me share this special time with you!

Tiny visitor

Well, I got to meet the sweetest, tiniest little man today! He was a curious one and did not want to sleep for fear he'd miss something exciting ;-) The weather certainly posed a challenge today as it was a very dark and dreary day, but I would not let the west coast climate stop me from capturing this darling boy's first days. His momma was certain he was going to be born early, so it must have come as quite a surprise when he decided to be one week late. You may remember his mommy from here. It's been a pleasure seeing you guys again! Enjoy.

A Little Late

I'm a little late getting this sneak peek up. This precious "little" girl came to see me a few weeks ago and after a little coaxing, dozed off beautifully and let me play :-) I say "little" because she was the largest newborn I photographed to date weighing in at a whopping 9lb 3 oz at birth! She is loved all around, by momma and poppa and big brother, too :-) Congratulations!
