My oh my, where did the time go?! You may remember sweet little miss A from her newborn shoot a few months ago. Well, she's as dainty as ever, but with a lot more hair and a lot more personality! What a delightful way to spend my morning :-) Thank you so much for coming today!

Vancouver Newborn Photographer - The Smiles Continue
Oh what a gorgeous little boy came to see me this afternoon. He was only 5 days old and today was his first outing since coming home from the hospital. He was curly and sleepy and even gave me a smile. That made my day! Thank you so much for bringing him for his first portraits.
He must have known we were taking a photo of the flowers his grandma sent, because he opened his eyes right up. Just look how gorgeous they are!

Anmore Newborn Photographer - Thank Heavens for Little Boys!
It looks like boy season is upon us. Today's gorgeous little man is one of many coming up. And what a great start it was!
I met up with a good friend of mine, Leslie Rowse and together we drove up to Anmore, where little Mr. Q lives with his family. I was a little worried since it was my first on-location session in over a year, and baby Q was 16 days old already. My worries were unfounded, though, since he slept like a pro and I managed to remember to bring everything ;-)
Thank you Leslie for being such a great help! And thank you M. family for letting me capture your sweet little boy!
And what's a blog entry without a sweet smile!

Vancouver Newborn Photographer - Classic
It has been quite some time since I had a chance to capture more dramatic type of newborn photos. I was super excited when I was contacted by this little girl's parents and found out that's what they were looking for. I was glad I still had a spot for her, as my schedule is pretty much full, with only one spot available in October, 2 in November and 1 in December.
Baby K was one month old today, but she was in a rush to meet her daddy and came 5 1/2 weeks early ;-). She was a tiny little thing and slept like a dream! Her mommy and daddy were so much fun to chat with that the session just flew by. We got some wonderful captures and here are some for a sneak peek. Enjoy!
She made me work for those gorgeous smiles, but it was definitely worth it. The one below took several minutes, but I knew if I just wait patiently, she will give me the smile I was hoping for. And she did not disappoint! Well worth the wait!

Vancouver Newborn Photographer - Colourful
I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing a delightful 5 day old girl and her family, who were anxiously awaiting her arrival. She may have been a week late, but was sure worth the wait :-)
I was also thrilled to find out that her mommy loves bright, vibrant colours. As much as I love the soft and gentle tones you frequently see on my site, I adore colour and with Autumn almost upon us, what better way than to start the season with a vibrant splash!
Thank you so much for coming to see me today.

Vancouver Baby Photographer - Look who just turned 1!
I can't believe it's been a year already! In many ways it feels just like it was yesterday when I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely girl for the very first time. She was also the very first baby I photographed in my new studio space (I guess it's not that new anymore, lol)
She has grown into such a charming young lady! She was squealing with delight when we sat her bare bum on the fur and once the feather boa came out...... well, just see for yourself :-)
It was wonderful seeing you again!
