She was tiny and sweet and happy to just hang out :-) She came to visit me with her mommy, daddy and grandma, and it was so wonderful seeing the joy this little girl has brought into their world. This little fella had the most striking blue eyes I've ever seen on a newborn. He had such a friendly disposition and despite being a few weeks old, was happy to go along with my plans :-) I have a feeling he's going to break a lot of hearts when he grows up.

Pregnancy is such a magical stage in a woman's life. From getting the positive test result, to hearing the heart beat for the first time, to feeling the first flutters and kicks. Knowing that there is a brand new life growing inside makes a woman feel empowered and beautiful. And when she learns that she's been blessed with two little ones, she radiates an incredible aura of love. It was so lovely meeting this beautiful momma. I cannot wait to meet the little bundles of joy!

Sweet miss A. came back for her 6 month portraits and boy has she grown since the last time I saw her! Her adorable cheeks and bubbly personality sure made it easy for me to capture her photos. It was so lovely catching up with mom and dad, too! Can't wait to see you guys again in January. I can only imagine how much fun we'll have then :-).

I am incredibly behind on blogging because I have been away for the last three weeks. I had to escape the non-summer we've had so far this year to the always sunny Winnipeg. I will do a blog post about my vacation soon, but today I wanted to share the rare Vancouver sunny day. My little sis is visiting from Montreal, so we headed to the beach to enjoy the warm weather yesterday, and to take in the breathtaking scenery. I've lived in this gorgeous city for 17 years and I am still in awe.
