Oh what a sweet little dolly Miss L. was! She was super cuddly, with perfect newborn skin and lots of smiles. She was also very much awake for most of the session, but despite that she was super calm and relaxed. I guess she just didn't want to miss anything, lol.

Delightful Miss P. came with her beautiful mommy and grandma recently. I am always so in awe with how radiant and glowing brand new mommies are. The funny thing is, they rarely believe it when I tell them they look beautiful. I am always so happy to show them the proof :-) It was such a peaceful and calm session as Miss P. stayed in a cozy slumber for the whole session.

This post is dedicated to all the great fathers in this world. They carry the weight of the world on their strong shoulders and protectively cradle their brand new babies away from harm's way. They cheer on first steps, and willingly participate in the various games their children invent, from innocent peek-a-boo, to tea party with the bears, to playing catch out in the back yard. Before you know it, your babies are grown and move away, possibly to start a family of their own. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all that you do!

Langley Newborn Photographer - Beautiful Girls

Babies, babies, babies! I just adore them :-) This little cutie was no different. Her mommy emailed me to find out how quickly I could fit them into my schedule, because this little princess was already 14 days old. I very quickly replied: "can you be here tomorrow?" Yes, that meant my paperwork had to be put off AGAIN, but what better excuse than a sweet baby girl, lol. My next spot was nearly two weeks later so I was thrilled when I found out they could come.

North Vancouver Newborn Photographer - The Wait Is Over

I've met his mommy and daddy way back in March. The doctors were worried he would come really early, so we opted to do the maternity session earlier than usual, just so we wouldn't miss it. And then we waited, and waited....

Turns out he wasn't in such a big hurry after all and waited until he was full term :-) And secretly I'm super glad he waited, because I had just picked up my latest prop only a couple of days prior to his session. He apparently loved it, because he got himself all comfy on it and then stayed asleep for the remainder of the session going through pose after pose without so much as a peep :-) He was definitely worth the wait!

White Rock Newborn Photographer - Sassy

"Seven day olds are easy" - I foolishly said to Miss B.'s mom and dad at the start of the session before realizing what I had done. Ha! She showed me :-) She smiled lots (I'm assuming laughing at my silly statement, lol) and insisted that it's just too much fun to hang out with me to sleep. I was able to convince her to at least pretend and give mommy some of the shots she wanted. All kidding aside, though, she was a real sweetheart and I got lots of snuggles which I love!

Oh my goodness! Little Miss A. was a hoot! I photographed her a few weeks ago and loved every minute I got to spend with her. She was sweet and giggly and even dosed off for a bit so we could get a few sleepy shots her mommy wanted.
