I've been photographing newborns for many years now. At last count the number of babies I worked with was somewhere around the 200 mark, yet despite that, every single one of these beautiful beings makes me pause for a moment and admire them in their perfection.  I feel truly blessed to do what I do.

Richmond Baby Photographer - Graduate

I adored photographing this family over the past year.  At every one of their sessions, I captured some of my very own personal favourite images.  This girl, I tell you, she just steals your heart the moment you meet her.  At one years old, she now has a pretty good idea of what she likes and doesn't like, and apparently some of my ideas were not up to her standards.  Not to worry, though, because that's why I allow a bit of extra time, if needed, to ensure I can capture images mom and dad will cherish.  Yes, her parents may have been the ones to hire me, but baby is who's boss! :-)

So many beautiful women having babies this Fall in Vancouver! And how lucky for me to get a chance to capture their glow before they meet their babies. This stunning woman had the most captivating eyes and smile, and such a gentle demeanor, that photographing her pregnant belly was an absolute joy.

From time to time, I love taking on a project that is completely outside of my usual work.  A client who listens to my directions and actually does what I ask? Unheard of!

Oh how I loved seeing this family again! Just two years prior I photographed big brother when he was a brand new little one.  I love families that have a sense of humour about the realities of parenthood, and embrace the perfect moments together with the silly ones :-)
