A child bonds two hearts stronger than anything else in this life can.  I adore getting a chance to witness the tenderness between parents as they admire their brand new baby.  This family was so in love with their little boy!

I've been waiting to meet this sweet little guy for a LONG time.  His mama contacted me pretty much as soon as she found out she was expecting, wanting to reserve a spot.  Nothing makes me feel more honoured than to be one of the first people to find out a new life has begun :-)  His mama's pregnancy was tough, but he sure was worth the long journey.  He was absolutely delightful at his session!

What's so special about newborn babies? Everything! The way they smell, the way they wiggle, the way their tiny hands wrap around your fingers.  And though I can't put all of that into a photograph, I hope as you look back at your tiny baby all those memories come rushing back, and you remember your baby exactly as she was in those first few days.

I got to photograph big sister's first year milestones and was delighted to find out her parents were expecting again.  Much to my (and their!) surprise, they were adding TWO more little ones to their family.  I adore working with twins so I was excited to hear I'd be photographing them a few times over the course of the year.

Turns out that, despite being excited about welcoming a little sibling into her life, big sister was not even a little bit in participating in the photoshoot.  No matter what we tried, she was having none of it.  Well, once we've given up, daddy asked her to say goodby to baby, and that's when I captured this sweet shot.  Sometimes you have to resign yourself to not getting anything before magic can happen :-)
